In today’s fast-paced digital age, building genuine connections across cultures is more important than ever. Our networking tool is designed to help teens from around the world forge meaningful relationships through a simple, step-by-step process. Here's how you can get started:

Step 1: Fill Out the Google Form Linked Here:

The first step on your journey to connecting with a global friend is to fill out our quick and easy Google form. This form will ask you a few questions about your interests, hobbies, and background. We use this information to match you with a teen who shares similar interests but comes from a different cultural background. Don’t worry, though! We understand that starting a conversation with someone new can feel daunting, especially if they’re from a different culture. To help you get comfortable, we’ll be sharing blog posts, hosting events, and creating videos filled with tips on how to confidently engage in conversation. We’ll also provide you with a list of icebreaker questions to ask your partner, so your first interaction is smooth and enjoyable. After all, this program is all about making connections and having fun!

Step 2: Wait for an Email

After you’ve filled out the form, sit tight! Our team will carefully review your responses and match you with a suitable person who will have similar passions and hobbies as yourself! You’ll receive an email within a few days with details about your new connection, including some fun facts about them. This email will also include important guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable exchange.

Step 3: Connect via Google Meet (optional)

Once you've received your match, it’s time to meet! Included in your email will be a Google Meet link where you can connect with your connection face-to-face (virtually, of course!). This is your opportunity to introduce yourself, share stories, and start building your friendship. Whether you want to chat about your favorite books, compare cultural traditions, or simply get to know each other, the Google Meet session is the perfect place to begin.

Step 4: Have Fun!

Now, the real fun begins! Exchange emails, get more in touch with your new connection or even start your Google Meet conversations—how you choose to stay in touch is up to you. The key is to enjoy the process of learning about another culture while sharing your own. This program is about building lasting connections, so feel free to get creative with how you communicate. At the end of your session, our team will send both people a follow up email asking if you would like to write a blog on the question you chose from the google form being "What cultural topics are you most interested in exploring?" If interesed you and your partner can write a blog, or make a video that will be published to our website for all others to see. Enjoy and have some fun!
